i forgot to post these last weekend because my computer promptly died right when we attempted to dump all the recorded files onto my computer.

peavey classic 30 we pulled out for an instrumental pre-song to "serial chiller status". it was too dark and gritty sounding for all the other songs, but it was perfect for this song.

so all of the instrument tracking is done. we finished 10 songs and we just have to come back do the vocals and mix it, then get it mastered and it will be done. we're really excited because it sounds sooooo good.

5 songs down, 4 to go. about to start "clumsy". i used this awesome guitar for "sit and wait", a gibson s-1.

we just finished doing our 4th song, "real talk". i used the heaviest les paul ever for this song, but it sounds great. we had a bit of a problem earlier when switching around amps to get different tonez, but we got it all sorted. there's a roland jazz chorus here with halfway broken inputs that i want to use really bad, but the sound kept cutting out. bummer.
god bless my mess

day 2. we attempted "wolf side up" and it got too late for us to actually get through the song, so we called it a night. we just finished recording "serial chiller status". wildddd. i've been on the lookout for this anti-energy drink, "drank", and i finally found it today!

my destroyed pedalboard for "sleeping patterns".

so apparently, this bass cab was used on a king diamond recording. because of that, i will most certainly be using it.

#2

so we are here and are in the process of setting up drum mics and getting sounds. this place is awesome! crazy warehouse drive up garage thang.

WAZZZAAPPP

we're recording our full length next weekend at simple machine in philly. we decided to use the idea of our buds, monument, and document it all on here. get ready for lots of pictures of nerdy guitar gear stuff and me making questionable poses/faces while marlon looks away in disgust.
